BACK TO CHURCH MONTH
September 12th has been declared, "Back to Church Sunday" across the land. Late August and early September is a time when we shift from summer activites to fall activities. The Church Growth Team has decided to expand that one day celebration to activities over more than a month. Some of the activities planned are:
August 13th - Troop #73 hosting Youth Swim Party at Camp Perkins
September 12th - Bring a Friend Sunday
Bring a Friend Potluck Lunch
Inaugural Contemporary Worship service (evening)
September 19th - Sunday School Rally
The Trustees anticipate that the Fellowship Hall remodeling will be completed for the September events. These activities are excellent opportunities to invite a co-worker, firend, family member, even a stranger in the life of the FUMCIP. Please plan to participate in Back to Church Month and involve others.

 Challenge
The Church Growth Committee would like to challenge the members of FUMCIP. If you notice a new person or family moving into your neighborhood go meet them and invite them to church. Families moving into our community are already receiving an attractive welcome postcard loaded with information about FUMCIP. You can help by not only meeting them and inviting them to church but also pray for them. Additions to Website
